WA WA

Introducing Wa Wa
Each of our 3 have a special puppy that their Grand Dad (Paul's Dad) gave them on their day of birth.  Each of the cousin's have one.  Our #2 has taken to his puppy more than any other.  Ra Ra is the name of the beloved puppy.
Last week (Mamo) my Mom sent us a fun box.  In the box was a small puppy that looks a little like Ra Ra. #2 quickly claimed it and #1 name it Wa Wa.  After our friend's baby girl's nick name, who happened to be over for a play date that day. Suddenly Ra Ra #2's puppy went from 3 years of being a boy to being Wa Wa's Mommy!
I have seen this Elf on the shelf thing all over Pintrest.  We don't do Santa at our house not because we are anti excitement  and wonder for our children its just a choice we made early on in our parenting.  So I deiced that Wa Wa the new puppy would come to life at night!  Wa Wa came to life last night for the first time. In his paw he had the first day of our advent book we are making!  So i plan to steal all kinds good idea's from Elf on the shelf for ways to have the boys find Wa Wa every morning.  My sister in love told me of a blog were they do Elf on the self and Santa asked if the kids would teach the elf to behave better.  So we are training Wa Wa.  Day one and we are having a blast!  Wa Wa climbed our Christmas tree. When the boys found her is was all eyes brows up, giggles and jumping up and down!  It is such a privilege to be fun for my babies!
Christmas Story Book complete with paw punch outs.

Our Christmas Story book that Wa Wa is giving us stickers to make!
This is the real life Wa Wa our puppy is named after.

  1. super cute! we have also made a decision that our family's celebration of Christmas will not include Santa - it just makes the most sense to us!

  2. Yeah...i love the wonder and excitement part of Santa. That is why we are doing Wa Wa. I have know idea if our #1 is buying it for real or not but he is enjoying it. Wa Wa is doing things to bless the kids like color their milk this morning to be fun and I think we will have Wa Wa fill the stockings to say thank you for helping make the Christmas book to tell Baby Jesus' story. A little different focus than the Elf getting into trouble.
